Taking us to new heights, CJC is preparing to toss us into a permanent state of Trance on November 23rd.
Many Egyptians are in a permanent state of Trance, and if there is a club we could call Egypt’s experts in catering to this beloved sound - although that applies to every sound actually - it would have to be none other than Cairo’s hottest spot for live music, Cairo Jazz Club. On November 23rd, the Cairo Jazz Club is bringing some of the biggest local Trance mixologists to their stage to run a marathon of dance.
As part of their Heightened Tempo night, Cairo Jazz Club will be enlisting the help of DJs Zalat, FAM, and Omar Sherif to ensure that clubbers have a chance to lose themselves in the sweat-drenched dance marathon. Kicking off this night of dance floor anarchy is Zalat. Releasing a set described as A Movie for Ears012 (Sunny Spell) back in August, Zalat’s set is determined to leave your legs feeling restless while having your ears screaming Oscar.
Following him on stage and pouring more fuel into the fiery dance floor will be none other than Hassan El Far Mohamed Ashmawy and Mohasseb of FAM, whose recent track, I’m Asking Why, has cracked the Top 50 Trance releases on Beatport. With a set that promises to get your adrenaline going, FAM’s anticipated set is sure to have Trance lovers getting a complete workout.
Closing out the night, and arguably reaching the peak, is acclaimed remix-ologist DJ Omar Sherif. With a set filled with some of the craziest remixes this side of the Nile, one can expect that Omar Sherif will be doing more than just heightening the tempo. Planning to own the tempo and genre, this DJ has a slew of remixes that will have you thinking you are partying in Ibiza instead of Cairo.
With a solid line-up that builds momentum with each act, Cairo Jazz Club and music lovers of Cairo will have reason to sweat, dance, and remain in a state of Trance long after this memorable night ends.
